Senior People Business Partner
City & Guilds Group are looking for a Senior People Business Partner to join the business on an 18 month FTC/ Secondment basis. As a Senior People Business Partner, you will provide strategic advice and coaching support to senior business managers, covering the people related aspects of setting and delivering business strategy, plan and priorities. Within the City & Guilds Group, this role will support our Kineo business in the UK, South Africa, the US and APAC. Kineo is a global workplace learning company that helps businesses improve performance through learning and technology.
This is an exciting full time (35 hour week) 18 month FTC/ Secondment opportunity which will mostly be working from home.
This appointment will be made on merit.

About the role
You’ll work in partnership with colleagues in the People function and Senior Leaders to translate future business strategy into resulting people plans. You’ll maximise people performance and value in the business using coaching and insights.
The role will work with leaders to understand and predict people management needs, using key people measures and insights to inform needs and solutions. This work will include supporting leaders in attracting, retaining and developing talent. It will also support the implementation of the People strategy, as well as our inclusion and diversity, engagement, and wellbeing strategies across the global landscape.
You’ll have proven HR experience in a senior HR Business Partner role, which will also have given you experience of building and delivering people plans for different business areas. Your skill set must include the ability to coach and develop leadership skills.
You must be comfortable working at pace in fast moving environment where priorities need to be adapted regularly. You’ll also be resilient and able to lead through change. Working with pragmatism and creativity, you’ll be able to conclude people issues in a unionised environment.
