Freelance Bilingual Bids Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced bilingual English / French Project Manager to support our Bids Team within the Oxford Group.

This is an ongoing freelance position, based remotely with working hours dependent on business need and reporting to Head of Bids based in the UK.

About the role

This ongoing freelance position is a key pre-sales role, which involves working closely with our Associate Directors, Account Managers and Project Managers to develop outstanding proposals and presentations for new business across existing and prospect clients. 

You will project manager end to end process for specific bids in both French and English as well as arrange, attend and document bid planning meetings and client briefing calls. You will be required to prepare and present proposals by developing first drafts, creating high quality programme schematics and graphics and support in the translation, updating and creating of key bid documents for our French speaking clients.

As part of the role you will also support other business development activities, recommend any process improvements and in time report on activity using the internal CRM system. 

About You

You must be fluent in speaking and writing in French and English and have previously managed multiple projects with multiple stakeholders. Your application must evidence experience of working on bids and tenders with a solid background in sales and business development, preferably within a professional services industry or corporate learning environment but this is not essential. 

You will have experience in interacting with senior level decision makers, be an excellent communicator and have the ability to influence at all levels. This role will rely on the use of Microsoft Office applications.
