Digital Content Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Content team in City & Guilds Marketing. In this role, you'll help to deliver the content marketing strategy for the City & Guilds, ILM and Digitalme brands. You'll be working closely with the Content Manager, the wider Content team, the Demand Generation and Communications teams, to generate and repurpose content targeting users across the customer journey. You’ll take an omnichannel approach to help create informative, creative content that drives inbound leads, brand awareness and preference.

About the role

You'll deliver market-leading content marketing across the Skills Credentialing brands, and give best practice advice on the use of social media, in collaboration with the Demand Generation and Communications teams. This will drive lead generation, engagement and brand awareness.  

You'll also work with external agencies and freelancers to ensure that content they produce for the brands adheres to brand guidelines. You'll be involved in the reporting on content performance metrics on a monthly and as-needed basis. Finally, the role is responsible for driving consistency and best practice across all content, addressing errors to deliver 100% accurate materials

About you

Enthusiastic, flexible and dynamic, you will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will be able to demonstrate willingness and capability in adopting a writing style appropriate to the audience, channel and subject matter. You will have experience in content marketing roles and excellent attention to detail in proofreading and editing.
