Technology Lead (Kineo)

Reporting into our Head of Client Group Technology we have a fantastic new permanent opportunity working in an operations based role as Kineo Technology Lead. The business runs in 3 main regions, APAC, EMEA and USA each with a slightly different operating model, standards and process. Your success in this role will be measured by how well you engage with the core performance team and align activities with Group Technology for all internal systems used within Kineo.

About the role

You will ultimately be responsible for overseeing technology landscape within the Kineo business (globally). You will work alongside other Technology leads driving standardisation and consolidation of systems and services to create efficiencies. You will be required to understand the Kineo business and technology strategy, supporting and driving back of house technology, leveraging C&G where commercially viable. You will also understand the C&G Technology Strategy and then be able to take those insights into Kineo in order to harmonise all internal systems aligned to C&G Technology.

You will be required to advise, influence and engage the Kineo core performance team on technology opportunities for areas where value can be created working with C&G Technology. You will keep abreast and inform of the latest external technology advancements to ensure opportunities are maximised.

You will need to be based in the UK working on a hybrid basis with a mix of home and office – but you do need to be within commutable distance from one of our City & Guilds hub offices.

About you

You should be a strong communicator capable of communicating confidently and concisely with Senior executives in the business.  You will have gained extensive experience of Technology Service Management. You should have a good track record of working with technical teams that work with a blend of both agile and waterfall methodologies across multiple regions.

You will be an excellent stakeholder manager, capable of understanding technology issues, taking ownership and accountability. You will bring with you a good understanding of the business landscape and technology stack/environment.

A collaborative approach is needed in your work and a real passion for giving excellent customer service.

While not essential, it would be advantageous if you have experience working for a software development/technology focused company in a leadership role, particularly in a B2B context.
