Kineo are looking for a Senior Lead Learning Designer to join their content team. You’ll take projects from start to finish, helping customers understand what their audiences need before cooking up great solutions that make a real impact on their businesses. You’ll love to share, supporting your team and helping them stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and thinking.

About the role
As a senior lead learning designer you will be responsible for identifying a client's requirements and recommending a solution through workshops and design specification. You’ll be a champion and a role model for good learning and content design. You’ll design creative and fit-for-purpose learning and content solutions, using storytelling approaches to help people learn.
The role will require you to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams including copywriters, graphic designers and developers. You’ll also be working with client stakeholders at all levels, gathering and discussing requirements, conducting interviews and focus groups to get to the heart of user needs.
You’ll develop wireframe and prototype ideas and explain complex solutions to a range of audiences, reviewing and feeding back on designs at all points of the writing and development process. A key element of the role is also to train, coach, and develop other designers, with the possibility of line management responsibilities.
You will be a highly enthusiastic, flexible and dynamic individual comfortable working in a fast-paced growth company, on multiple projects with tight deadlines. You’ll have proven instructional/learning design skills, ability to identify an engaging and effective design approach to achieve project and learning objectives.
You’ll be capable of taking initiative: making recommendations on best approach in terms of design, scoping and scripting and advising other designers in following this approach. Possessing excellent writing and editing skills, you’ll have proven ability with writing a range of technical, instructional and/or educational materials in different contexts, in a range of tones and styles. With strong communication skills you’ll be capable of explaining the rationale of decisions and building rapport and trust with clients.
