About the role

The City & Guilds Group have invested in SAP Success Factors to become its core HR system. We are in the first implementation of Phase 1 with other phases to follow.

As part of an IT delivery team, you will be the Technical Product lead for the SAP Success factors service, working collaboratively with our SAP Success Factors Partner, Business Product owner and other key City & Guilds Group HR stakeholders.  

You will be responsible for the analysis and reporting of the performance of Success Factors, monitoring, troubleshooting problems and outages, upgrades and quarterly releases amongst other activities. These activities include leading on interfaces with the system, ensuring each system and software talks to each other as effectively and efficiently as possible, ensure the design reflects learning from networking with other clients of SuccessFactors and our Implementation Partner whilst keeping up to date with the latest industry best practice to deliver and operate SuccessFactors projects.

About you

We want to hear from people who can come in and make a real impact. We are looking for an expert who has worked on SuccessFactors implementations, who can provide advanced technical knowledge and experience working with this type of software. Due to the nature of the role you will have excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to rigorously assess options, challenge the norm, evaluate data and suggest appropriate solutions.

You’ll need to be able to keep up with SuccessFactors rolling out updates to ensure the organisation is prepared for these as best they can be, working with stakeholders across the Group and provide details of these upcoming updates and changes. To do this successful we are looking for a people person, able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders from employees to directors.

We are open to suggestions from anyone on how to do things different so being able to offer new ideas to what we can do in terms of process improvement are more than welcome to the team. We would encourage you to provide input and expertise to other project streams as required and consider the overall success of the entire programme the most important objective, as opposed to the success of this individual role or project stream alone.
