We are looking for a number of Coordinators to join the City & Guilds Technicals Quality team here at Wakefield. These roles require the delivery of excellent customer service, the close administration of our quality assurance requirements and supporting the High Priority Qualifications Manager with all aspects of quality assurance. Your tasks will include being a first point of call for Quality Assurance, Moderation and End Point Assessment application queries. This will involve data management and the preparation of reports on QA/moderation/EPA activity and processing applications for approval. You’ll also be involved with our new T-levels in Construction and BSE.
Experience of working in a Quality Assurance environment is not essential. Full training to develop your existing administration and customer service skills will be provided.
About The Role
As a Quality Coordinator you will enjoy interacting with customers and providing great service, by giving excellent administrative support to the Technical Quality team in line with City & Guilds requirements. You will also be responsible for coordinating external quality assurance processes supporting the wider Quality Delivery function
You’ll be joining us at an exciting and challenging time in our development of Technical Qualifications as we move into our fourth academic year and gear up for T Levels. Your main role will be first point of contact for centres for all queries relating to Moderation; supporting them in understanding and completing grade forms, uploading the required evidence to our platforms for processing and to liaise with Moderators and centres in order to ensure the smooth processing of learner certificates while always maintaining a high standard and integrity.
You’ll need be a good communicator, with exceptional organisational skills and ability to work at pace in a fast moving environment. We’ll need you to ensure that our customer service level agreements are met and that you are able to resolve centre queries or issues quickly and to a high standard. Most importantly is a keen eye for detail as you’ll be expected to check the accuracy of large amounts of centre data.
Other responsibilities will include the facilitation of training of our Moderation platform, processing claims and payments and also application for End Point Assessment (EPA); therefore previous experience in training or administration roles would be useful (but not essential). You must however have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and be proficient at using customer information systems. You’ll need to be a on the job learner and not afraid to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in. You will also have opportunities to support and work with other Quality Delivery teams to develop your skills and experience.
You’ll be someone who thrives on being organised, juggling multiple priorities and working to challenging deadlines. You will need to be a natural communicator and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast paced environment. You must have strong administration and customer service skills. Experience of the educational sector, of quality assurance systems, and of risk management would be useful but not essential.
A good knowledge of Microsoft packages, mainly Word and Excel is important. An understanding of SAP and CRM would be useful, but again, not essential.
