Early Talent & Apprenticeship Coordinator
We have an exciting new opportunity working as our Early Talent and Apprenticeship Coordinator! Reporting into and supporting the Early Talent Apprenticeship Partner to operationalise an award-winning Early Careers strategy with diverse feeder programmes and varied routes to market to demonstrate that City & Guilds leads by example and are fully inclusive!
You will own the hiring process in alignment with our systems and processes, developing and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers and providing coaching and supporting through the hiring process. Our successful candidate will offer a best-in-class candidate experience that is highly professional and ensures a positive impression of City & Guilds as an Employer!
You will need to be based in the UK working on a hybrid basis with a mix of home and office. We offer flexible working but request presence in City & Guilds offices as required for this role.
This appointment will be made on merit.

About the role
You will support the deployment of City & Guilds early talent and apprenticeship strategy, aligning social mobility and DEI with key objectives. Key tasks in this role will be to monitor and coordinate all apprentice activities including learning, mentoring and events, supporting the development and delivery of work experience and internship programmes across the organisation.
You will be fully immersed across C&G teams to collaborate and effectively embed early talent and apprenticeships and to champion as gold standard.
You will also be required to manage partnerships with third parties, e.g., charities with expertise in supporting in areas of health and wellbeing as required upon recruitment.
Working within agreed service performance and team measures, you will be expected to deliver accuracy, service quality and compliance.
You will also contribute to ad hoc projects across early talent and apprenticeships, to support attraction, development & retention, for example social media posting, EVP, Careers site.
About you
You will have proven hands-on Early Talent experience, experienced working with diverse groups. You should have exceptional stakeholder management skills as you will be required to build relationships across the business with hiring managers and candidates.
Our successful candidate will have excellent written communication skills, you will be tasked with writing engaging advert copy alongside other recruitment support materials.
A team player who is also capable of working independently, you will pride yourself in giving first class customer service.
This will be a busy role therefore the ability to multi-task, working at pace whilst maintaining accuracy will be required.
You will have strong technology skills (both MS Office and ATS system experience would be ideal).
