Direct Sales Executive
Do you have a real passion for sales and a keen interest in all things digital? Are you looking for an opportunity with an organisation that helps people achieve, has real social purpose, and is a great place to work? Then one of our Direct Sales Executive roles could be a fantastic career move for you!
About the role
You’ll join our Direct Sales team, and you’ll proactively manage customers over the telephone through outbound calling and incoming enquiries. You'll be working on multi-channel campaigns promoting and selling the full range of City & Guilds products, including our learning materials, digital products and e-portfolio.
The role will involve working to reactive and proactive sales campaigns, delivering core and innovative products and services to our customers. You'll be responsible for achieving performance targets and pipeline activity through managing a caseload of customers, predominantly via the telephone. Supporting our customers with our digital products, providing demonstrations and solutions to suit their needs, you'll manage customer inboxes for new centre enquiries and general enquiries into the department. Finally, you'll be reporting on and analysing trends and insights to drive business decisions and continuous improvement.
You’ll need outstanding business development and account management skills, and a real passion for sales. With excellent communication skills, you need to be able to manage customers over the telephone, meet and exceed targets and KPIs, and deliver a great customer experience.
Whilst by no means essential, knowledge of the education and training sector would be useful, as would existing experience of selling elearning and digital products. However, more important than this is your desire to continually develop yourself and deliver on your objectives.
