Development Technical Consultant Microsoft
We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a new Development Technical Consultant specialising in Microsoft technologies to make a real impact to the team and organisation. This role will be working within the DevOps team within Group Technology department focused in the Groups Value Chain areas of Core Assessment and Marking. The role will be supporting the delivery of technical enhancements across a wide range of existing and future applications.
This role will be offered as a 10-12 month fixed term contract, to cover maternity leave.
About the role
As a Development Technical Consultant Microsoft, you will be responsible for delivering technical development initiatives associated to various Applications, Functions and Technologies across the Group as part of the Core Assessment & Marking DevOps Team. To enable this, you will need to build strong rapport with your DevOps team colleague as well as other department and group stakeholders.
You will be involved in a number of technical enhancements, where you will be responsible for delivering and moving through our Software Development Lifecycle so you must possess excellent development and communication skills.
We want to hear from experienced Microsoft Developers who have a background in delivering technical enhancements from ‘idea to delivery’.
The successful applicant will be a technically strong individual with a solid and successful track record in delivering technical enhancement in many functional domain environments. You'll be passionate about providing exceptional customer experience and service.
You’ll be joining a passionate, experienced, and fast paced DevOps team reporting into the Group Technology Department. This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to work as part of a team, is organised and can manage their own workload effectively, working with other team members building knowledge. You will work you’re your team members to Scope, Estimate, Priorities and Deliver Technical enhancements across a wide number of functional applications.
